Michael Coyle, a life-long Catholic and a native North Carolinian, is a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Charlotte and holds a theology degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is a diocesan-certified catechist and has been enthusiastically and effectively teaching religious education for nearly 40 years, including youth catechesis, campus ministry, RCIA, Scripture studies, and adult faith enrichment Michael led the inspiring and enjoyable Catholic Spirituality weekend retreat at Living Waters in 2019.

Contemplate this beloved disciple whose faith and love of Jesus has endured for over 2,000 years and still touches our lives today.  The retreat will include slide shows, dramatic presentations, readings from the Gospels and early Christian writings, prayer and discussion.  As The Feast of Mary Magdalene nears on July 22, join others in contemplating the meaning Mary Magdalene has for your life.

Oct. 4-9Diocese of Charlotte – Annual Diocesan Priests’ Retreat – Retreat begins on Sunday Afternoon with sessions on Monday – Friday morning. All Priests are encouraged to contact LWCRC with “special room requests and diets”
Oct. 9-11 Second Saturday Spiritual Direction Group This is a closed retreat for the group of 15. Retreat will center on Biblical Study / Spirituality (This is a book study retreat – book to be determined) Retreat will be facilitated by Houston Hall – Interim Minister of UCC Church of Northern Kentucky/ Southern Ohio.
